About this opportunity

The Assistant Leading Hand is responsible for assisting their shift Leading Hand to oversee all activities and persons within the production hall. Directly reporting to their shift Leading Hand, working closely with and accountable to the site Quality Officer.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Assigning and coordinating the tasks for their shift production team
• Machine operation; ensure machines operate efficiently and produce conforming product.
• Conducting product testing and making the necessary process adjustments of the machine whentesting indicates that it is required.
• Conduct all operations in such a manner as to comply with WHS requirements
• Conduct all operations which comply with Food Safety requirements
• Conduct all operations in such a manner as to comply with Quality Standards.
• Assist with overseeing the production hall operations.
• Promote a safe work environment and adhere to the company safety obligations in accordance with WHS legislation.
• Adhere to the company environmental obligations in accordance with environmental legislation.
• Efficiently operate all scheduled production lines and attend to faulty machinery immediately.
• Provide technical assistance and support to their shift Leading Hand.
• Coordinate production team activities and assignments.
• Ensure the production schedule provided is followed to meet production targets.
• Monitor quality control.
• Drive housekeeping.
• Acting shift Leading Hand in their absence.

Your skills and experience

As an experienced Machine Operator, you will be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and pay excellent attention to detail.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

• Previous machine operation experience (Blow moulding experience preferred though not essential)
• Mechanical aptitude
• Capable of troubleshooting and resolving problems at the root cause and the ability to make minor machine adjustments to address efficiency and product non-conformances with the use of small hand tools
• Strong focus on safety and able to apply methodologies to improve processes
• A commitment to quality
• Results driven
• Good written & verbal communication skills
• Solid understanding of HACCP & GMP
• Reliable, punctual, and available to work weekends
• Hold a current NSW forklift licence or be willing to obtain one

About The Role:

As our Practice Manager you will manage the consulting practice for the implementation of treasury solutions to ensure engagements meet client needs, business requirements and future business growth objectives.

What You Will be Doing:

In this role you will:

• Manage a consulting team and strategy to effectively execute business plans and develop consulting offerings to address market opportunities

• Manage key FIS channel relationships such as sales, relationship management, product management, business unit management and others ensuring continued collaboration to drive results for Practice

• Maintain responsibility for profit and loss of consulting practice including forecasting and managing to revenue and expense targets and communicating business metrics to senior management

• Ensure generated revenue meets or exceeds plan for FIS Consulting Services Business.

• Ensure consulting engagements provide excellent client satisfaction and client loyalty.

• Manage consulting personnel including engagement staffing, staff performance/evaluations, effective communication, career planning and succession planning.

• Collaborate with other Consulting Practice Managers to ensure right resources are working on right work to optimize goals for the entire division based on priorities and demand generated.

• Provide direct sales support throughout entire sales cycle working closely with sales and account management to create and close opportunities including proposal/statement of work development, negotiating pricing, project planning and giving prospect presentations.

• Maintain quality client relationships to gain referrals for new clients

• Nurture relationships, define consulting engagements to support relationship needs and sells the initiative.

• Consult with clients on the most strategic technology projects within a practice area. 

What You Bring:

• A proven Corporate Treasury or Consulting background for large complex multiple industry practices

• At least 7 years’ experience in management ideally in a treasury team or financial services consulting

• Experience of treasury management system implementation and professional services for corporates and/or banking and financial services is preferred

• Broad knowledge of regulatory requirements, financial institution operations, and risk management

• Negotiation skills regarding complex issues and sound experience in relationship management with stakeholders including C Level clients and management

• Adaptable and able to work well under pressure in fast-paced, changing business environments

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or Finance or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
