Our valued client Metal Recovery Industries based in Qld, is seeking an experienced Business Services Manager to join their friendly team of professionals.
The Company collects, salvages and processes scrap metal goods for recycle and re use in regional and remote areas in Central North Queensland, including mining sites.
Role of the Position:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business which involves managing a team, ensuring efficient delivery of services, maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the strategic planning and execution of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Leadership and Management:
Develop and manage the organisation’s administrative, financial, physical and staff resources
Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to staff.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Operational Oversight:
Ensure the efficient and effective delivery of business services.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
Monitor and manage departmental budgets and expenses.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Participate in the development of business strategies and goals.
Implement strategies to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
Identify opportunities for business growth and development.
Client Relationship Management:
Represent the organisation in negotiations, and at conventions, seminars, public hearings and forums, and promoting existing and new programs and policies
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Address and resolve client issues and concerns promptly.
Quality Control and Improvement:
Monitor service quality and implement improvements as needed.
Conduct regular audits and assessments.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and present regular reports on departmental performance.
Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Utilise data to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in a managerial role within business services or a similar field.
Experience in client relationship management.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in business management software and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
