About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Transport Operations team as a Pallet Administrator. This is a 6-month fixed term contract with a view to permanent for the right candidate.
In this role, you will utilise your experience in pallet control, reconciliation, resolutions, strong administrative skills, excel or google sheets and exceptional attention to detail to contribute to the efficient management of pallet movements within our platform. A process driven position with previous experience managing CHEP and Loscam pallets, we are looking for someone that can review and improve the current process to best in class.
Note - whilst this is a full-time opportunity for the right candidate we are open to part-time hours and/or flexible working hours.
What You’ll Do
- Identify current process with a view to design and implement an efficient pallet control process for the Ofload Operations function
- Reconcile pallet movements and investigate and resolve any pallet queries or discrepancies
- Ensure all pallet movements are entered correctly and timely into relevant pallet management software (Palletwatch)
- Provide accurate and meaningful reporting on pallet accounts
- Ensure agreements and SOPs are created and kept up to date for trading partners
- Training of team members of relevant pallet process while driving continuous improvement
- With a commercial and resolutions focused approach negotiate pallet management agreements and historical pallet movement claims, involving both internal and external customers and suppliers
