About the Opportunity

As the face of TAL, you will offer TAL’s life insurance products directly to customers, providing general advice and recommendations to support their purchasing decisions and convert to a successful and compliant sale.

Key responsibilities include:

• Educate clients about TAL’s insurance products, to help the, gain a full understanding of their options.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships though inbound and outbound queries.
• Achieve realistic monthly revenue and compliance targets i.e., 15 calls per day on average and 2:1 commitment to purchase to purchase per day.
• Accountable for managing accurate documentation and generation of quotes.
• Collaborate effectively across departments to ensure a positive sales and application experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high quality and high-volume outbound prospecting (using phone calls, emails, LinkedIn etc) to generate qualified leads for the sales teams
• Communicate insightsoftware's value proposition quickly and effectively to engage your audience
• Meeting, and exceeding where possible monthly, quarterly, and annual quota of qualified opportunities
• Work closely and collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams on strategy to meet sales goals
• Schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives to qualify leads, learning about the sales process along the way
• Track and deliver timely and accurate forecasting and pipeline management
• Set yourself up for a successful career by learning effective communication skills and gaining experience talking to executive level managers at large companies

About The Role:

We’re looking for a Product Manager to work across development, operations and customer facing teams to build a non-functional product roadmap that empowers the next phase of our platform growth.  We’ve successfully transitioned from a multi versioned on-premise business to a single version SaaS platform.  We’re now focusing on the challenges this brings by building out teams, processes and platform that allows us to scale as a SaaS only business.  As a Product Manager in our Sydney based team you will work alongside Architects and Functional Product Managers to shape our cloud migration strategy, delivery and deployment infrastructure, operational tooling, customer insight tooling and platform reliability strategies.

Working alongside the Chief Product Manager you will:

• Provide strategic vision and build out an accompanying roadmap.

• Prioritise work based on value to the business and impact on the customer.

• Work with multiple product owners and teams as they build detailed backlogs and provide regular feedback on in progress work.

• Work with infrastructure and change management teams to help shape organisation policies and processes that better support the SaaS business model.

• Work in partnership with architects to help shape technical delivery priorities.

• Work in partnership with functional product managers, customer facing staff and pre sales teams to better understand the business requirements that shape our platform needs and priorities.

• Accelerate agile outcomes through an ideate, define, deliver and validate focused approach.

What You Will Need:

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience in a software delivery environment

• 3+ years professional experience with a successful SaaS business

• 3+ years technical Product Management experience

• A hands on history of operations and / or development

• Be comfortable talking detail with experts on cloud technologies, delivery pipelines, site reliability, process automation, change management, metrics and monitoring etc

• Strong communication ability, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders

• A pragmatic ability to innovate, driving new ideas and concepts, taking account of technology changes and market expectations

• Experience working in an agile environment

Bonus If You Have:

• An interest in finance (treasury management)

• Experience with Scaled Agile and Scrum

• Professional product management certification

• Cloud platform exposure and experience, specifically Azure
