The Opportunity

We’re looking for a mid-level Lawyer to join our successful and growing Tax practice in Australia. In this role, you can expect to assist numerous small and medium sized businesses with a broad range of tax law needs. This position suits a versatile tax lawyer looking to both refine and expand their knowledge base and skillset in a fast-paced, friendly and collaborative environment. We are open to candidates located anywhere in Australia.

How We Support Our Clients:

• Initial business structuring and planning;
• Restructuring/CGT rollover relief;
• Business exit planning (incl. small business CGT concessions);
• ESS/ESOP design and eligibility advice;
• Flip-ups into the US or to other foreign jurisdictions;
• Reviewing and assisting with business structures and terms for marketplaces/platforms/GIG economy;
• Assisting with PAYG, superannuation and payroll tax obligations on contractor arrangements;
• Advising with the ‘early stage innovative company’ concession;
• Advising on capital raises and inbound investment; and
• Drafting/amending trust deeds, among other structuring and tax-related legal services.

This role is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and focused Product Coordinator. The broad scope of the business provides dynamic products and offers insight into many industries. As a key member of the IT Projects team, contribute to new initiatives and manage the life cycle of products within the epay platform. Become the product coordinator ensuring business processes are followed and work with an offshore team that support this role. The role involves a range of duties, including but not limited to the following:

*         Work with the internal teams as well as external brands and suppliers to manage products on the epay network. This would involve managing the products from its source, its business rules, up to the retailer where the product is made available for sale or processing.

*         Coordinate with an offshore support team to configure content and products in the staging environment.

*         Coordinate migration of content and products to production environment with an offshore IT operations team.

*         Review the setup of products in the both staging and production environments. This includes manages the testing life cycle on epay customer facing platforms and interfaces.

*       Review card data formatting.

*         Owner of tools such as checklists and process documents to ensure requirements are captured, tracked, and maintained.

*         Coordinate product related tasks with European and US Ops team daily and manage bi-weekly calls.

*         Assist and troubleshoot transactional and product issues, working with relevant teams to resolve them.

*       Manage the rollout calendar schedule.

*       Initiate process improvements where possible.

*         Tertiary education with a minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

*         Strong problem-solving skills and strong inclination for process engineering/improvement.

*         Technical understanding and experience working with integrated transaction platforms.

*         Proven ability to drive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, and to liaise cross-functionally and across borders.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a junior lawyer to join our Tax team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will assist and work alongside a team of experienced tax lawyers to deliver quality work and an exceptional experience to every client you interact with. 1. Construction and Engineering Management:

• End-to-End Project Oversight: Manage design, construction and engineering aspects of multiple renewable energy projects (solar hybrid, wind and BESS) from inception to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards, design criteria, timelines, and budget constraints.
