This role is to support the ICA Best Practice on Expert Reports, our client requires in-house Structural Engineering expertise to thoroughly assess and evaluate the Expert reports for claims decisions with a focus on property affected by earthquakes.

What you'll need to succeed


Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree or professional engineering certification is highly desirable.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on residential and commercial projects.
Proven experience in quality assurance, risk assessment, or claims evaluation within the insurance industry is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex engineering data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
