Due to experiencing significant growth in our GNA operations and being recently awarded contract within WA Country Health Services, NDIS, VHC, DVA and CHSP we are seeking a Computer Network Engineer to work closely with the service providers and other stake holders.
We are currently seeking 1 nos experienced Computer Network Engineer to join our team who can analyses and modifies new and existing hardware and software engineering technologies and applies them in the testing and implementation of new IT infrastructure projects for people with different abilities. Successful candidates should experience and passion towards the updating the technology for people with unique abilities and talented life skill. This role is full-time permanent and suits applicants who are organized, can multi-task, and can work under pressure in a very busy office environment and willing to travel across Australian states and territories. Requires 2-year minimum experience in the same field or very closely related occupation/skills.

• Experience working with developing, maintaining and executing computer network technologies for customised products.
• Requires 2-year minimum experience in the Information Technology, networking or electronics design field.
Tasks & Responsibilities
• Plan and design computer networks, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, and wireless systems.
• Install and configure network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) and software.
• Manage and maintain Network, Firewalls, and enterprise applications.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
• Implement and monitor network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, attacks, and data breaches.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and IT staff.
• Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software problems effectively.
• Evaluate and recommend hardware or software upgrades to improve network efficiency.
• Perform regular maintenance on systems and ensure compatibility with emerging technologies.
• Participate in IT planning and strategy development.
• Document network configurations, system changes, and IT policies.
• Create performance and incident reports for management review.
• Assessing performance of networks, integrated hardware’s, operating systems and recommending improvements whenever required for
operational requirements arise.
• Installs and maintains hardware and software, ensure the efficient performance of technology equipment’s.
• Identify technology limitations and errors to update, maintain, test and control the existing system to meet the accredited standards.
• Provide guidance in developing proposals and strategies to execute, operate and manage the IT infrastructure management.
• You will need to keep updated with new arrivals and changes in the operating system.
• Liaise with GNA support coordinators, outreach project officers, contractors, developers, and other system users to refine, document and
develop network requirements and application architecture.
• Develop IT tools and techniques that harness the use of spatial data to support systems and deliver support project outcomes.
• Develop and maintain appropriate documentation in line with GNA’s policies and practices.
• Produce and maintain regular reporting to GNA Management.
• Provide timely and accurate system maintenance information to facilitate system support.
• Create IT infra structure processes and lead the Continuous Integration & Continuous Development of GNA Services.

Education:
A bachelor’s degree with major in computer science, electronics and communication technology
Experience: Network Admin/Software/Electronics Design – 2 Year Mandatory
