As the People Operations Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing HR support and guidance to our diverse blue and white-collar workforce at the Fulfilment Centre in Altona North (VIC 3025). Working closely with the People & Culture team, you will ensure compliance with labour laws and internal standards while fostering a productive and engaging work environment.

Your Role:

• Develop and update HR policies to align with labour laws and best practices.
• Manage casual recruitment, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
• Support employee relations by addressing conflicts and promoting communication.
• Assist in creating performance improvement and individual development plans.
• Ensure HR activities comply with legal requirements and prepare reports.
• Collaborate on HR-related projects and lead People & Culture initiatives for your site.

This is you:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of Australian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Google suite use (sheets, docs, slides, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with a high level of attention to detail.

• Ensure efficient and effective management of a portfolio of 400 residential properties
• Continue to develop and implement policies and procedures
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and contractors
• Provide regular and timely reports to senior management
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential property management
• Proven experience in team leadership and management
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
• Experience in using property management software
