What you will be responsible for:

• Leading a team of up to 10 team members.

• Overseeing Vulcan’s Health & Safety culture is followed by all team members

• Assisting in the onboarding and training of new team members

• Supervise the operational activities within the warehouse

• Assisting with Operate ring CNC Machinery. Saws,  Laser , and Plasma
• Resolving daily operational issues
• Ensuring timely & accurate shift information where important is communicated to incoming shifts.
• Making suggestions for increased efficiency while not compromising safety
• Assisting with general Warehouse storeman responsibilities
• Customer order picking
• This is a hands-on role where you will be asked to lead by example

• Afternoon shift (1:30pm – 10:00pm)

• Computer skills

• Good understanding of H&S compliance and best practices

• Forklift license (Essential)

• Ability to work confidently under pressure

Preferred experience

• Prior experience in leading a busy warehouse environment.
• Previous experience running CNC Machinery.
• Previous experience in a steel handling environment.
