About the Role:
Our Wagerup Refinery is currently searching for a Senior Civil Co-ordinator / Engineer in a fulltime permanent capacity working a Monday to Friday roster. This role reports directly to the Senior Asset Integrity Consultant for the successful implementation of the site-specific civil infrastructure maintenance works program. Civil infrastructure includes concrete items including bunds, slabs, and structural supports; foundation earthworks, structural steel, chimney stacks, building structures and cladding, road pavements, train rail tracks, potable water piping, tank shells, storm water drainage and sewers.
The key strategic objectives for the role include:
Implementation of agreed civil infrastructure maintenance program including program budget and schedule planning, scope definition/documentation, service order quotation and contract item via purchase order award with service contractors.
Management of competitively bid maintenance contracts, including development of tender documentation, monitoring, and assessment of work scope progress against budget, quality criteria and schedule.
Ensuring that Workmanship, Inspection and Testing Plans for maintenance works are in place.
Ensuring progress in accordance with contract item sums (TBE, lump sum, etc.) and schedule.
Controlling extra work items within agreed budget and schedule.
Coordination, supervision and reporting on all items of agreed civil maintenance works, including management of work front contractors and sub-contractors.

What you can bring to the role:
To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:
5 years’ experience in engineering, maintenance and/or construction of civil infrastructure
Tertiary qualifications of a diploma or degree in the relevant civil discipline.
Project Management qualification or experience
Well developed communication and organisational skills
