About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .Net Core Developer to act as a Team Lead, responsible for leading the development of innovative software solutions. This role is critical in shaping our technology stack and ensuring the high performance of our applications. You will be the technical anchor in our Melbourne team, driving project success with your extensive expertise in Microsoft Technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical direction and oversight.
• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives and compliance standards.
• Integrate complex payment gateways and ensure compliance with PCI requirements.
• Design, build, and support mobile applications and web services.
• Oversee the architectural design and ongoing development of applications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise system performance and scalability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support new product development and deployment.

Requirements:

• Experience in software development with deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, including .Net Core, C#, SQL Server, MVC, Web API Services, and Azure.
• Proven track record of working with complex payment gateway integrations and PCI compliance.
• Strong background in cloud services (Azure), microservices architecture, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Apple Connect, Google Developer, and modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Ability to work independently and lead complex projects from start to finish.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong problem-solving mindset.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: 

• Own the media performance process from activation (buying & trafficking) to converting (optimisation & reporting) of campaigns
• Setting up and optimising campaigns across paid search, paid social and programmatic
• Communicate with the client on reporting, competitive and creative specs requirements
• Implement bid management technology and automated bid rules across campaigns to drive performance 
• Ensure finances & budgets are completed with accuracy
• Create a positive relationship with key media and technology partners e.g. Google, Facebook, DBM, Trade Desk

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: 

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in a performance/digital role, ideally in a marketing agency 
• Experience implementing campaigns across digital channels including paid search, paid social, and/or programmatic 
• Experience working on tools such as CM360, Google Ads, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, DV360
• Strong grasp of Microsoft Office programmes, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Experience of working within a fast-paced agency environment with high-value clients
• Confident, comfortable, and professional when communicating with clients and third parties

• Positive attitude and a strong passion to learn & grow in the performance/digital space

What will a day in this role look like:  

• Work as part of a team producing substation design drawings using AutoCAD or Revit in accordance with client standards  
• Electrical design models and drawings including substation layouts and sections for equipment and associated utilities, set outs, single line diagrams, secondary schematics. 
• Complete drafting reviews on design drawings prepared by others in the team 
• Mentor/support juniors in the drafting team and wider Energy team.  
• Working co-operatively with team members whilst liaising with engineers and drafters (both locally and internationally) to ensure timely delivery of design deliverables. 
• Maintain, developing, and retaining the highest standard of technical design skills.
