**The Position**

We are seeking an enthusiastic and optimistic individual to join our kitchen team.

As a Pastry Chef, you will play an integral part of the kitchen team in the day to day operations of the kitchen. Being a seasonal business, the team is small during downturn but increases during season. We will be pivotal in designing the bread, pastry and desert menu's, kitchen planning, purchasing etc.

In addition to this you will be required to:
- lead through example as it relates to safe food handling, kitchen hygiene and cleanliness;

The Care Coordinator also contributes to the review and delivery of the Care Plan with the support of the multi-disciplinary care team. Day-to-day reporting for this position is directed to the Care Manager or General Manager.

The Clinical Care Coordinator works in collaboration with the Care Manager to ensure effective coordination of resident care, including:

• Assists with the admission of new residents to the facility, ensuring that they are assessed.
• Assess the individual needs of residents and develop person-centered care plans in consultation with other healthcare professionals, ensuring that care is tailored to meet their specific needs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents' families and health care providers, keeping them informed about their health conditions, care plans, and any significant changes or concerns.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident documentation, including care plans, behaviour charts, medication charts, observations and/or incidents.
• Provide and assist with direct nursing care to residents, including and not limited to assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), administering and managing medication, catheterisation, conducting observations and monitoring, and wound management.
• Actively participates in case conferences and relevant meetings
• Complete clinical assessments and reviews at required intervals and escalate as required, including COD status, daily wound care and fall management
• Undertake audits as required, including the Schedule 8 drug count
• Assist with pharmacy ordering as required
• Check alerts, overdue tasks and progress notes to ensure they are completed effectively and to standard
• Coordinate infection control measures are in place and ongoing risk reduction strategies are being implemented
• Assist with the investigation of clinical incidents and their close out as required
• Collate data and prepare information for reports as required

Essential:

• Bachelor of Nursing
• Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
• Nursing experience within a residential aged care facility, preferably at least 3 years of aged care experience.
• Experience of working cooperatively with multi-disciplinary care teams
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation and practice skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient computer and information management skills, including ability to use Microsoft and clinical software systems.
• Experience in a similar clinical care role
• An understanding of the aged care accreditation process
• Working knowledge of quality improvement programs
• Current Driver’s License.

We are currently seeking Laundry Services Assistants to join our team. There are multiple opportunities available. The Laundry Services Assistant is responsible for the provision of laundry services in accordance with infection control and laundry practice standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all resident personal clothing and laundry items are labeled.
• Safely transport and handles soiled linen in accordance with infection control requirements.
• Launders linen and resident personal clothing according to policies and procedures.
• Safe storage and use of laundry agents including correct cleaning agents used in correct quantities for each task.
• Ensure correct storage and rotation of clean linen.
• Inspect and identify linen items for replacement.
• Participate in the Infection Control Program.
• Any other task not defined but within the employees skills, as directed by the organisation.

Essential:

• Experience in laundry practices.
• Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).

Desirable:

• Experience in residential aged care.
• Knowledge and experience in chemical handling
