About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced self-motivated Chef to join our team. You must have creative flair with a solid track record in delivering high-quality cuisine, with a focus on local produce and sustainable farming. Your tasks and responsibilities will be but not limited to:
• Preparation and cooking of meals ensuring promptness, freshness and highest quality of dishes
• Ensuring compliance with all food and service standards
• Ensuring kitchen is kept to a high standard by providing a clean, hygienic environment for the preparation and delivery of meals
• Promoting a safe, secure environment for staff and patrons
• Stock control including ordering of correct quantities, storing under the correct conditions, monthly stock takes, quality and price
• Rectifying any arising problems or complaints
• Staff recruitment, training, supervision and rostering
• This is a long-term role so only permanent residents or applicants with the ability to work long term need apply.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you must have a high level of customer service, time management and coordination skills.
