We are seeking a dynamic Category Manager to lead our category vision. This is a stand-alone role which requires the ability for both strategic and administration tasks. In this pivotal role, you will craft customer-focused category plans, manage product innovations, and drive sales performance.

Your role responsibilities will involve but not be limited to:

Planning and Execution:

• Develop and manage strategic and operational plans for all categories, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
• Track and analyse category performance, recommending action plans to meet budgetary goals.
• Oversee forecasting and ordering processes to support operational success.

Business Management:

• Manage the category P&L, ensuring adherence to budgets and forecasts.
• Utilize customer insights and market trends to inform product development and category initiatives.
• Negotiate with suppliers to build promotional plans that meet business requirements.

Working Relationships:

• Collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing, Supply Chain, and other internal partners.
• Engage with food suppliers and counterparts in the Asia Pacific region to align on category strategies.

The role will include (but not limited to): 

• Be responsible for the Event Operations once BEOs are handed over from Event Sales Team; 
• Responsible for overseeing the smooth operational running of social, wedding and corporate events; 
• Ensure strong communication relationships with the Events Sales team; 
• Required to perform duties in the restaurants in the absence of bookings for the events spaces; 
• Support & provide training and development to the Food & Beverage team; 
• Have a keen understanding of weddings, corporate and social events;
• Support the Food & Beverage Manager in managing labour costs in line with  budgets & forecasts and 
• Address & resolve all event-related guests’ grievances and escalate when required.

Job Description
Take your Property Management skills to the next level, managing a unique remotely located portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in the delivery of one of Australia’s largest property management contracts. The portfolio of properties is for a single client, an Australian Mining giant!

As part of the regionally based Property Management team, you are guided in contract delivery, organisational processes, and compliance by your Housing Manager. Our regionally based teams are constantly supported by a Perth based team including General Manager, Trust Account Manager and Property Compliance Manager.  You will bring your gun Property Management skills and confidence to the role, ensuring best practice and compliance is adhered to through the adoption of your industry knowledge and experience. You will learn about the unique nature of a single sophisticated client portfolio and integrated facility management contract.

Role’s specifics:

All typical property management duties and responsibilities. Such as but not limited to:

• Manage housing applications, assessments, and reviews
• Leasing, ingoing, and vacating tenancy procedures
• Routine inspections and PCR’s
• Property maintenance management
• Bonds and tenant damage cost recovery
• No trust accounting, no end of month, and no weekend home opens.

Who are we looking for?   
To be successful in this role you will ideally have at least 3 years’ experience working in Residential Property Management. You will hold DMIRS Certificate of Registration as a Property Manager or Real Estate and Business Sales Representative registration.   
You will have experience managing your own work schedule, managing competing priorities and working under pressure. You pride yourself on attention to detail, ensuring documents are completed accurately, processes are followed, and accurate client, lease property and tenant records are kept. Advanced computing skills, with the ability to learn new property systems is important to hit the ground running.

Qualifications

To be successful, you’ll need:    

• Experience working in Residential Property Management or agency management.
• Western Australia Property Managers Registration.

This role ensures coordination for essential engineering support to frontline staff maintaining the plant and responding to day-to-day equipment failures. Including: 

• Development of major equipment overhaul scopes.
• Development and implementation of tracking and assurance activities to ensure effectiveness of tactical strategies.
• Reliability improvement of rotating and other mechanically driven equipment and electrical assets.
• Delivery of technical support, including vendor liaison, to minimise the impact of equipment downtime.
• Liaise with key Operations stakeholders to provide Engineering support to mitigate risks to the delivery of the business plan.
• Ensure asset-related failures are investigated and learnings shared and implemented.
