Universal Biosensors (UBI) is a world leading, publicly listed Australian company (ASX:UBI) which develops, manufactures and sells biosensors for use in several industries around the world. Our biosensor technology has been used in more than 10 billion measurements for blood glucose monitoring and blood coagulation in diabetes and coagulation patients worldwide. What you will do
UBI is seeking a highly motivated, passionate and driven individual to join our team. This role, reporting directly to the Global Head of Marketing, will be responsible for our revolutionary handheld wine analyzer, SENTIA™ (https://sentiaanalysis.com/) , developed to simplify and elevate the wine testing process for winemakers globally. By leveraging advanced electrochemical technology, SENTIA enables real-time, accurate analysis, helping winemakers make informed decisions throughout the winemaking process.
As the Product Specialist, you will drive optimization of the total Sentia solution and work with the product development team to develop new offerings (and/or improve existing) to expand the Sentia suite. Typical activities also include, key opinion leader development, customer-centric product development, and troubleshooting to improve existing offering.
Who you are
We are looking for a results-driven and proactive candidate who may be degree-qualified in Wine Science/testing background. You'd have at least 3 years' experience in wine-testing/making related roles. Your technical expertise in oenology/viticulture will blend scientific understanding with pragmatic analytical skills to excel in this role.
The role will perform (but not limited to) the following activities:
- Collaborate closely with R&D and winemakers/customers to continuously evolve SENTIA
- Foster community and advocacy for SENTIA with social media and other channels - champion SENTIA
- Undertake regular market research activities to identify trends and validate product enhancements
- Participate and contribute in the development of all sales & marketing initiatives, including trade shows and stakeholder presentations.
This role may be based out of HQ in Rowville, Melbourne, or fully remote in West Coast US (in/near wine regions preferred) you possess the ability to work autonomously, be customer-obsessed, detail-focused and data-informed – bringing experiences and skills such as:-
