The Risk Lead will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on the management of risk related arising from the provision of medicinal products and medical services. The Risk Lead will work with the GM Compliance to establish the risk management strategy and risk frameworks for the Montu Group. This role will play a crucial role in building a sustainable compliance environment across the Montu group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Risk Strategy & Frameworks: Support the GM Compliance in shaping the risk management strategy, integrating risk processes into strategic planning, and addressing financial and non-financial risks. Design and implement robust frameworks that meet regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, recommend solutions, and implement tools to centralise and streamline risk management across the organisation.
• Advisory & Insights: Provide actionable insights to senior management on risk trends, emerging threats, and mitigation strategies to support decision-making.
• Reporting & Metrics: Prepare detailed risk reports for senior leadership and regulators, while developing dashboards to monitor and measure risk effectively.
• Training & Culture: Lead risk training initiatives, enhance employee awareness, and foster a positive risk culture throughout the organisation.
• Performance Objectives: Achieve individual and departmental OKRs and KPIs aligned with organisational goals.

About the Position 
 
This role will have responsibility for leading the team that makes every customer in their Major Area committed to Service Now for life and have the ability to marshal all customer resources to address any customer satisfaction, adoption, professional services, or renewal challenges within their Major Area, resulting in clear accountability, consistent service and one face to the customer. 
 
This role also carries the lead responsibility for Customer Satisfaction and Success through the sale and delivery of our Impact and Services products and add-ons, as well as the relationship with Partners -- all of which are critical to the company’s short and long-term success. 
 
Responsibilities 

• Owns the overall success, renewal and growth for all customers in a defined Major Area 

• Drives the alignment of customer success, expert services and transformational resources through adoption of innovative offers combined with market leading solutions that accelerate business value for our customers 

• Focus on customer intimacy to deliver business impact and innovation to a customer’s business by understanding our customers’ key business issues and opportunities 

• Create evangelists by listening to customers closely and delighting them with our user experience and service 

• Create growth opportunities with new product features and enhancement information 

• Build and nurture C-level relationships across accounts to solidify our partnership and commitment to the customer while penetrating the account deeper 

• Create a consistent and valued customer experience developing and scaling repeatable methodologies and proven best practices 

• Work closely with the Sales organization to develop and execute growth plans and strategies to drive License Agreements, expert services and customer success. This will also require territory and portfolio planning alignment with Sales. 

• Establish relationships with leadership across sales, solution consulting, services, product, channel, and support leadership to ensure cross-functional alignment at scale 

• Effectively build and establish relationships with partner consulting organizations to enable a go-to- market strategy 

• Manage and achieve key business metrics including bookings, revenue, P&L, utilization, and expenses

We are looking for a Governance and Regulatory Affairs Lead.  

The Governance and Regulatory Affairs Lead will actively drive robust governance to enable the Risk Management Framework and Strategy (RMFS) and manage industry body and regulatory engagements in accordance with internal protocols. 

This is a highly visible role in the business and will be responsible for the delivery of core enablers including governance, risk culture, and industry body and regulatory engagements. The responsibilities of the role include:  

• Developing and implementing the Regulator Engagement Policy and regulator engagement strategy, applying strong practices for regulatory and industry liaison to foster positive government and industry relations and relationships.   

• Applying the emerging risk management framework including internal and external environmental scanning and coordinate risk management activities to enable effective management of emerging risks. 

• Build and lead internal community to facilitate consultation, feedback and knowledge sharing on matters relating to policy setting and reviews, regulatory change and emerging risks.  

• Interacting with regulators and industry bodies and ensuring all interactions meet policy standards with accurate and timely record keeping.  

• Escalating material and high risk regulator interactions via the appropriate governance channels.  

• Leading the regulatory change protocol to ensure adequate identification, assessment and management of industry and regulatory changes and trends. 

• Producing quality, concise and accurate risk and compliance reporting using risk data and insights to management, committees and the Board.  

• Providing input to assessment on regulatory matters including breaches and attestations and preparing timely reporting and notification to relevant industry bodies and/or regulators. 

• Assisting with the review and completion of FAR reasonable step assessments and co-ordinating regulatory notifications, as appropriate.  

• Providing effective challenge as part of participation in the decision-making process, ensuring that material decisions are risk based, and risk frameworks support effective decision making. 

• Actively participating and supporting the planning and delivery of risk initiatives and transformations. 

About You 
To be successful in this position you will have the following skills and experience: 

• Relevant Tertiary qualification in a related discipline (e.g. law, finance, business, audit)    

• Demonstrated experience in compliance management within the finance and banking industry. 

• Demonstrated experience in governance and risk management roles, in the financial services sector, and a sound knowledge of APRA prudential standards.  

• Experience with engagement with external parties, regulators and industry forums. 

• Demonstrated experience in risk governance and risk reporting.  

• Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and be able to demonstrate sound judgment. 

• Strong inter-personal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
