We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IT Procurement Officer to join our team in Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring IT products and services that meet our business objectives. Your role will involve negotiating contracts, fostering strong relationships with vendors, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. Leveraging your expertise in IT procurement, communication, and analytical skills, you will play a critical part in driving efficiency and cost-effectiveness in our procurement activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research to identify and source the best IT products and services that align with the company’s needs and goals.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure optimal agreements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable and efficient service delivery.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure IT purchases support overall business objectives and operational needs.
• Monitor and ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, regulations, and standards.
• Track, analyze, and report on procurement activities, costs, and outcomes to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT procurement or supply chain management, with at least 2+ years of experience, ideally in a large and complex organization.
• Strong knowledge of IT products, services, and procurement best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in both English and Mandarin.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with tools such as Atlassian Jira Asset Management and Confluence is highly preferred.

What will a day in this role look like:

• Schedule meetings and travel arrangements
• Assist with arranging group events, both internal and external
• Assist and coordinate compiling professional documents, presentations, and bid documentation.
• Help with the onboarding of new employees including systems, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborating with other teams within the broader AECOM business such as the office administration support network, finance, facilities, safety and IT to expedite business needs for individuals and teams.
• Assisting with projects and bids to manage and coordinate processes from concept to completion and liaising with stakeholders on behalf of the project team to support the effective delivery.

Your New Role

We have an opportunity with one of our key programs providing support and maintenance of a large enterprise environment spanning multiple locations (ideally you will have an NV1 Security Clearance). This role will see work within a high-performance leveraged team working across a wide range of technologies. As an End User Services Administrator, your role will perform some or all the following functions as individual assignments or as part of a team:

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain computer systems and operating systems and services.
• Troubleshooting and fault remediation activities
• Create and maintain various AD Account types.
• Create, update, and amend process documentation, knowledge base articles, and Standard Operating Procedures
• Interact with users and key business stakeholders providing subject matter expertise.
• Provide deskside user support for various applications and Citrix based environments.
• Install and configure standard company software packages and applications using customised in-house toolsets.
• Assist users with data backup and recovery.
• Assist users with print and LRS related issues.
• Deploy solutions as part of a project or initiative according to organisation standards. 
• Investigate and resolve user requests and problems that arise from the recent PC Migration Project.

Join our busy NSW PMO team as a Contract Administrator and be responsible for driving the multiple installations of TOMRA’s new bulk centres across NSW. You will also assist in managing upgrades and modifications of our other centres as needed.

Our Bulk Centres are a new area of the business in NSW, so your creativity, problem solving skills, adaptability and drive to complete projects will be essential in succeeding in this role. We plan on opening multiple centres throughout 2025 so your ability to manage several concurrent projects will be well received.

With multiple stakeholders across the TOMRA business, one of your main responsibilities will be to ensure everyone is informed, engaged and has reasonable expectations throughout the acquisition, design, delivery and handover of each project.

Some other main responsibilities of the Contract Administrator:

• Carry out all necessary administration, co-ordination and process functions in accordance with company guidelines and procedures, including implementing new processes where gaps are identified
• Working with an external Property Agency and the company’s partners to identify and secure new tenancies for the business
• Manage design coordination and CDC (Complying Development Certificate) applications, lodgement and approvals.
• Seek all approvals required for the site to be delivered to the business including internal and external stakeholders, planning and building approvals
• Engage Principal Contractors and Managing Contractors for the fitout works, obtain quotes, finalise the Scope of Works, prepare and manage building contracts and the construction program during the build
• Administer the cost, schedule, resourcing, procurement, subcontractor deliverables and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
• Lead the wider project team by building and maintaining effective working relationships with technical professionals, project team members and stakeholders
• Knowledge transfer to core team and staff to build internal capability, constructing and providing handover documents and procedures to the business once a project is completed and established as BAU
• Perform additional tasks as reasonably requested by PMO Director and/or NSW PMO Manager
