• Work closely with business, operations, vendors and other stakeholders for test planning and execution.

As our Senior Commercial Analyst for Transformation, you’ll be responsible for facilitating the procurement and management of IT agreements throughout the contract lifecycle from creating and driving RFx activities, contract negotiations and management of renewals. About the role

In this 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, the Senior Analyst is a part of the Business Intelligence (BI) and Research stream of a broader Analytics Team, supporting a broad spectrum of business stakeholders by finding innovative connections through data mining and deep dive analysis. The Senior Analyst (BI) role is embedded, and will work day-to-day, within a cross-functional Data and Insight product team.  Vision, roadmap and priorities for each team is set by a product owner.  Each team will contain the skills required to deliver working solutions to end-users (including, but not limited to, analysts, engineers, quality assurance, scrum master, etc. 

Key accountabilities include:

• Help devise and implement behavioural analysis, providing actionable insights to key stakeholders.
• Create and maintain intuitive Tableau dashboards that support data-driven decision making.  Dashboards should be focused on optimisation and end user experience in order to help promote a self-serve analytic culture.

We are looking for a Senior Payroll Officer to join our Finance team at our Prestons site in Southwest Sydney.

Our payroll team are responsible for managing the payroll across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting through to the Group Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Coordination of new employee documents
• Separation of employment activities
• Master file maintenance and updates
• Leave management (Kronos and ConnX)
• Weekly and Monthly payroll processing (MicrOpay)
• Month end reporting

• Assist the Senior FP&A Manager in standardising reporting rhythms, processes, templates, analytical tools, and aligning master data across the Group.

Manage Systems and Processes:

• Administer and maintain the Adaptive Insights planning system.
• Develop and maintain models within the new planning system.
• Enhance master data management and explore opportunities to improve month-end processing through system utilisation (Looker, Concur, Netsuite, Adaptive Insights).

Situated in the Business Analysis Practice, the Senior Business Analyst has two main priorities:

• Supporting the Product Owner/Business Owner/Sponsors to ensure that business needs and solutions options are understood
• Ensuring the product/platform/project team have a shared understanding of the requirements, through written and verbal communication.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Gathering and documenting requirements: Gather, review, analyse, validate, evaluate, and map business systems, processes and user needs and translate them into requirements/user stories with acceptance criteria
• Managing stakeholders: Engage, inform and negotiate with stakeholders to elicit and validate requirements and prioritise them
• Analysing and modelling: Analyse documents, programs, logic, process flows and specifications.  Model the requirements using a range of techniques such as process mapping, story mapping, user stories and acceptance criteria, business rules
• Managing the requirements lifecycle: Ensure that requirements/user stories are prioritised based on their value, complexity, and feasibility, ensuring that the most critical items are delivered first
• Team communication and collaboration: Work closely with Engineers, Testers, Change Managers Third Party members within the product/platform/project team to ensure everyone understands business requirements to be able to develop a fit-for-purpose solution
• Risk and issue management:  Identify risks and issues and develop effective mitigation/management strategies according to Rest’s risk framework, and communicate risk assessments and plans to the necessary stakeholders.

The purpose of the roles is to help deliver the strategic agenda for FR&A. This will involve delivering value-adding, insightful reporting and analysis to the Board, CEO, CFO, ELT, Executive General Manager Group Finance, and Group Treasurer, Investment bank, relating to the strategic direction and performance of the Group.

Your responsibilities are varied, ranging from being the key business partner in Group Finance for selected Business Units and Subject Matter Experts, ensuring the successful co-ordination, execution and delivery of the monthly financial dashboards, quarterly trading updates, and semi-annual results for the Profit Announcements, to providing ad-hoc value-add analysis to FR&A’s key stakeholders.

Key duties could include:

• Investment spend forecasts and insights for senior management as well as reporting on the effectiveness and efficiency of the investment portfolio and resources.

• Successful co-ordination, execution and delivery of the Group's monthly “flash” result to the CEO and CFO

• Successful co-ordination, execution and delivery of the monthly financial dashboards to the Executive Leadership Team, CEO and the Board

• Assist in the preparation of external results reporting on the investment portfolio and preparation of Annual Operating Plans and Quarterly Business Review memos.

• Ad hoc analysis of the project delivery workforce and allocation of funding with focus on optimisation

• To provide independent review of strategic equity investments and transactions and advice to the Group CFO

• Engage and partner with stakeholders across various parts of the Group.

In this integral role, you will provide in-depth analysis on operational and financial results, drive process improvements and efficiencies across key services line and business units.

Some of your key responsibilities are:

• Analyse business performance trends and drivers and drive the preparation of key management reporting deliverables.
• Assist in detailed commentaries of business unit performance for service lines across Australia.
• Partnering with the key stakeholders on their business unit performance against targets/budget.
• Assist in annual budget & biannual forecast submissions process.
• Work closely with other Business Service units to drive efficiency and process improvement.
• Contribute as part of a team-based approach to the servicing of business needs which includes preparation of presentations, remuneration modelling and business unit restructuring.
