About the opportunity
As the Financial Accountant you will work closely with the Finance Manager and will be responsible for ensuring timeliness and accurate financial data is available for our stakeholders. In this role will also be responsible for the successful execution of a range of accounting functions, processes and providing internal accounting and controls support across the business.

This role is fulltime onsite position located JAX Tyres & Auto Head Office

Your Duties
Calculation and issuance of our month end revenue calculation, including but not limited to Franchise royalty & rebate calculations to our Supplier Agreements,
Perform month end accounting functions within the required deadlines time in accordance with our Global HQ
Preparation and analysis for monthly management reports that are provided both internally and externally. Requiring meaningful insights and commentary for Executive level understanding and decision making
Prepare quarterly consolidated package for group reporting to Global HQ
Preparation and management of ICFR (Internal Control over Financial Reporting) requirements
Prepare and manage core Balance Sheet accounts through investigations and reconciliations
Responsible for intercompany reconciliation between all intragroup entities
Preparation and assist with tax compliance lodgements (Goods Service Taxes, Income Tax, FBT, Payroll Tax)
Maintain fixed assets register for additions, disposals and depreciation
Assist with leases calculation accordingly to AASB16 standards
Operate the treasury function, including review of daily reconciliations, liquidity management and credit card management
Assist the Financial Controller and Finance Manager with annualised budgeting for entire Group Financials Managing

About you
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field and CPA/CA qualified.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Proficient in data analytics and financial.
Deep understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
Strong negotiation skills
