The Security Support Analyst would be responsible for the day-to-day Cyber support of the Leidos Airborne Solutions environment, associated services, and applications.

The objective of this position is to provide Cyber support and services aligned to Leidos Airborne Solutions business requirements.

Primary Role

• Proactively manage and monitor cyber security threats to systems with Leidos Airborne Solutions

The Infrastructure Support Analyst would be responsible for the day-to-day administrative support of the Leidos Airborne Solutions environment, associated services, and applications.

The objective of this position is to provide IS support and services aligned to Leidos Airborne Solutions business requirements.

Primary Role

• Escalation and triage point for all incidents
• Provide operational checks of all error logs and successful backups. Apply remedial action or by delegation for any problems identified.
• Provide administrative support for server and backup infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IS staff and third parties to ensure efficient operation of Infrastructure
• Ensure IT compliance standards and frameworks are adhered to (ASD Essential 8, etc)
• Support BCP and DR initiatives.
• Communicate support actions, activities and schedules with all responsible parties in relation to jobs in progress and recorded in the Helpdesk software system.
• Comply with full change management process and procedures.
• Maintain change control documentation and standards.

We are currently looking for Data Centre Technicians to join the facilities team which operates on a 24/7 basis.

Based in our P2 facility in Perth, the purpose of this role is to support the Facility Management team with the day-to-day operations of the data centre by providing high quality & efficient technical maintenance and customer service.

The successful candidate will be required to work a 4 – 5 – 5 rotating shift roster with day shifts from 7am - 7pm and night shifts from 7pm - 7am.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Delivery of cabling needs, electrical and data, to customer racks and areas
• Attend to remote Hands Request
• Assist with the maintenance of all core electrical and mechanical systems

Job Summary

SY9 is Equinix Australia’s first HyperScale data center and as the current team move towards our customer arriving onsite from June, we are looking to recruit a Critical Facilities Specialist with extensive Electrical and building systems technical knowledge.

The successful applicant will have complete knowledge and full understanding of principles and practices across relevant systems with an ability to be the Subject Matter Expert in one or more of the disciplines. Overseeing and undertaking ongoing site maintenance, they will assess unusual circumstances and use sophisticated analytical and problem-solving techniques to identify root cause.

Whilst a strong data center operations background is required, the Critical Facilities teams operate in unison and across disciplines, so a sound broad engineering understanding is desirable also. Those at Specialist level are encouraged to resolve and assesses a wide range of issues in creative ways and suggest variations in approach.

The position is for the fully qualified, expert professional who will be a lead engineer onsite at SY9. Our team will consist of engineers from Graduates through to seniors and the ideal candidate will be someone who can share their Electrical knowledge and expertise with the team and help to develop your colleagues around you.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support - Responsible for technical niche repairs on mission-critical data center systems requiring sophisticated analytical problem solving techniques to identify cause
• Reporting - Reviews specialized contractual reports and activities
• Site Maintenance - Oversees the site maintenance and upkeep of Data center infrastructures according to Equinix global standards
• Assess Adherence to Policy - Ensures all repairs performed on all Data center infrastructure are according to the manufacturer’s guidelines and standard methodologies
• Complexity & Problem Solving - Aids in root cause analysis and in repair of specialized failed critical components. Devises solutions based on limited information and precedent and adapts existing approaches to resolve issues. Uses evaluation, judgment, and interpretation to select right course of action. Your work will be conducted independently and is reviewed at critical points only
• Collaboration & Interaction - Liaises with design stakeholders on design changes. Enhances relationships and networks with senior internal/external partners who are not familiar with the subject matter often requiring persuasion. Responsibilities:

Our Concierge will provide support to datacenter facilities and administrative duties following standard procedures.

• Supports customers by coordinating visits and schedules in the data center; assists on semi-routine inquiries and issues.
• Directly coordinates activities with the Equinix Response Center (ERC), as needed.
• Keeps records of activities within the data center including circuit inventories, installed power inventories and labor hours expended.
• May generate purchase requisitions and coordinate with vendors for delivery and invoicing.

• Assist security with supervising the security office, signing in visitors, validation and assignment of access via the Siebel and EACS.
• Work closely with site security and report security related incidents to the Security Operations Control Centre

Customer Support and onsite Customer Liaison

• Supports the coordination of tasks to the appropriate cross-functional teams.
• Maintains positive business relationships with local vendors in support of customer's administrative needs; provides information about local vendors to customers upon request.
• Maintains customer care areas/conference rooms for cleanliness and fully stocking amenities as the need arises; may provide backup coverage to cross functional teams to support inventory ordering.
• Communicates semi-routine operating datacenter procedures to customers on-site, while building and developing positive customer relationships.
• Coordinates customer work visits with security and escorts customers and/or vendors, within a reasonable vicinity, as required.
• Assists with tracking, following-up, and reporting on routine or new customer inquiries and issues while customers are on-site
• Provides general induction learning tours to new customers to orient them to the site and escorting customers to their spaces within the IBX and unlocking racks where required

The Critical Facilities Specialist supports the team by performing repairs and leading site maintenance at a static site, ensuring adherence to Equinix global standards.

Qualifications:

• Trade Certificate or Degree in Mechanical/HVAC/refrigeration or related field
• Willingness to work autonomously and unsupervised when required
• Ideally, some data center, industrial and/or mission-critical exposure and experience
• Positive demeanor and outlook, enjoys working in a team environment
• Ability to attain and maintain NV1 security clearance
