Operational Management: 

• Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of Bars, ensuring all logistics are handled smoothly. 
• Coordinate with internal departments such as catering and audiovisual to ensure seamless service delivery. 
• Recruit, train, lead and support the Bars Team Members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. 
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance the team’s skills and knowledge in event planning and execution.

The Venue Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Venue operations within the hotel, including team management, guest service, financial performance, and adherence to health and safety standards. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organisational skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as an office manager or Executive Assistant in a professional services environment with some HR responsibility

About the role

This role revolves around people and has two main parts. First, you will be responsible for the office environment in our Brisbane branch, driving employee engagement and being an ambassador of the First Focus values! And then you will support people managers across our national business, assisting with coordination in areas such as compliance, performance management and training.

Reporting to our Chief People Officer, you will maintain an exceptional culture and working environment in our Brisbane CBD office and ensure that the office runs smoothly and efficiently. You will build strong personal relationships with every member of the Queensland team and be the eyes, ears, hands and feet of the People function in Queensland.
