Manage and maintain a receipt, storage, maintenance, and distribution capability
Manage the operation and maintenance of Government Furnished Equipment and Thales equipment
Apply and manage the Safety Management System to ensure a safe working environment
Assist the Regional Manager in maintaining and developing effective organisational systems and procedures, with the aim of continuously improving depot efficiency and effectiveness
Liaise and communicate with customers to understand requirements, improve service levels, and identify opportunities for enhancement
Ensure operations comply with the regulatory requirements of Commonwealth and State authorities
Develop a stocking and resupply program and associated items
Ensure compliance with security requirements for operations, following Controls and company policies
Management of staff performance under the direction of the Regional Manager
How About You?
Diploma level (or higher) in logistics or a relevant business or equivalent experience
Previous experience within a similar role with demonstrated knowledge of the logistics and warehouse industry
Good oral and written communication skills, able to communicate with all levels of the organisation
Experience within the Defence, warehousing and/or logistics management would be highly advantageous
