We have two roles available for Chemical Engineering graduates to join a team that supports capital projects that will enable you to acquire valuable skills and experience in the following areas:

• Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance of our Supply Assets
• Provide Process Engineering services focussed on operational monitoring and optimisation, problem analysis and plant improvements
• Support the day-to-day operation of the plant, in a team environment with Chemical Engineers, operators, maintainers and managers
• Support projects in areas such as renewable feedstocks; margin, energy, and safety improvements; product quality improvements; advanced process control improvements
• Rotations may involve working in different plant areas and refining processes, developing plant improvement projects, safety risk assessments, finding root causes of process problems, scheduling plant operations, implementing energy improvement ideas, evaluating the technical feasibility and economic consequences of alternative strategies, monitoring, and improving the performance of equipment (pumps, pipes, vessels, valves, heat exchangers, distillation columns, reactors, furnaces etc)

You will work across our Geelong Refinery and join our Reliability, Maintenance and Operations teams that will enable you to acquire valuable skills and experience in the following areas:

• Pumps, industrial gearboxes, cooling fans, motors, heat exchangers, valves, steam turbines, pressure vessels and process piping
• Analysis of reciprocating and turbo compressor performance and health including scoping of repairs and improvements
• Providing guidance and technical advice to the maintenance and operations departments
• Assess asset end of life and recommend appropriate replacements, options for continued service or priority of asset repair in accordance with local standards and service conditions
• Repair scoping, technical guidance, and identification of improvements for equipment breakdowns and during maintenance interventions
• Liaising with global original equipment manufacturers and engineering consultants
• Oil refining processes and how mechanical equipment contributes to safe and reliable operations
• Heavy industry maintenance, safety systems, management of change and reduction of down time methods in general

• HV/LV Motors, Power generation and distribution

• Industrial Cyber Security for IACS threat identification, risk assessment and countermeasures
• Process Control and Analytics

This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop Project management, technical and Customer relationship skills while contributing to the company's growth and success. As a Project & System Services Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue through effective Project Management skills, technical support, solution design, and customer engagement. The Project & System Services Engineer will work in the Internet of Things (IOT) space and is responsible for the deployment, configuration, maintenance and monitoring of all active network equipment to ensure smooth operation of the system. This will involve constant communication and link with the customers to ensure that the customer staff are trained to operate the systems as well as be able to troubleshoot issues that may arise from time to time; both, at a network as well as software and data level.

We are looking for a casual Broadcast Engineer/ Panel Operator, reporting to the 6PR Engineering Manager. This role is responsible for helping oversee the operation of the station from an IT and engineering perspective, with focus on our Broadcast Studios. The role also lends itself to putting live programs to air, managing time and commercial commitments within shows, liaising with presenters and producers.

Day to day will include but won’t be limited to: 

• Providing technical support for broadcast systems promptly.
• Managing incidents using service delivery ticketing systems.
• Assisting other broadcast technology teams as directed.
• Keeping announcers and producers informed of show progress and timing.
• Playing music, interviews, commercials, and other elements at appropriate times.
• Coordinating and inserting traffic reports, sporting updates, and live reads.

• Understand the critical technical aspects of projects, implementation, and integration for complex systems.
• Key areas of focus include HV transmission and distribution substations' secondary systems electrical design, encompassing protection and control schematics, wiring diagrams, protection and control room layout.
• Ensure the project is delivered on time and budget.
• Undertake site inspections and associated reporting.
• Liaise with clients and contractors in relation to project objectives and targets on technical issues and problem resolution.

• 5-10 years experience in substation secondary design, preferably in a consulting environment.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Senior Systems Architect, you are accountable for:

• Leading the development of critical architectures as part of bids and projects
• Provide the Engineering Management role for bids and projects, supporting the initial development of the Work Breakdown,

• Expert level of experience in Architecture development for major projects
• Expert level of experience in Systems engineering for major projects
