Report to the Director of Operations and support significant investment projects at our facility in Benalla.

What Success Looks Like:
The Australian Government recently allocated an extra $220 million to upgrade manufacturing facilities in Benalla and Mulwala. You will lead Benalla’s ongoing asset replacement, enhancement and new manufacturing facilities projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery. You'll also build and maintain strong relationships with critical Australian Government stakeholders, reinforcing our status as a trusted manufacturing partner.
Key Activities and Responsibilities include:
Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Project Managers, Engineers, and Coordinators, fostering a collaborative and effective work environment, driving team development, and ensuring successful project execution and team performance.
Oversee bid and project schedules, budgets, baselines, risks, and opportunities, including conducting gate reviews and coordinating inputs from suppliers and partners.
Contribute to Thales' functional objectives and strategies, identify key performance indicators, analyse variances and risks, and mentor less experienced team members.
From day one, you will need:
A Degree in science, engineering, project management or other suitable discipline.
Significant experience in Bid and Project Management, preferably within capital growth projects in a manufacturing environment.
Confidence in making judgements to represent the company at high levels with internal and external stakeholders.
