As a Head Brand Thinker you’ll be responsible for leadership across our existing and new clients identifying and pursuing opportunities that align with Thinkerbell’s proposition and strategic goals.
You will collaborate with our Thinkers and Tinkers Tinkers to produce innovative work for our clients. We expect all of our Thinkers and Tinkers to push the boundaries of strategy and creative for our clients.We have a keen focus on building brand-led ideas through the entire customer experience, from insight to execution.
THE TASK AT HAND
The Head Brand Thinker is responsible for helping improve and drive Thinkerbell’s strategic and creative offering. Your focus will be on the following:
Culture
Lead the values and drive the Thinkerbell culture, ensuring all staff understand the agency’s values.
Inspire and lead in creating an environment where people are inspired, engaged and motivated.
Inject energy and passion into every challenge we face – see the opportunity to create something great.
Have thirst and vision for changing the norm and driving news ways of thinking and delivering results for clients.
Reviewing your team and building individual development plans based on performance and potential.
Share industry knowledge, popular culture and trends to ensure the Thinkers keep up to date and encouraging everyone to step outside their comfort zone.
Financial
Lead and drive the financial reporting and forecasting monthly for smooth accountability and delivery.
Improve financial capability of Thinkers to ensure accurate short-term forecasting, timely invoicing and reconciliations.
Work with the Thinkers to identify new business and revenue opportunities from within existing clients.
Work closely with the Thinkers to ensure accurate estimating and management of overages.
Lead the Lead Thinkers and Thinkers to challenge the traditional conventions to find cost and time efficient methods of delivering initiatives.
Product Drive and champion our product and model. Develop strategic communication solutions and ideas using the Four Leaf Clover.
Take a lead role in think tanks or preparations of workshops. Ensure that strategies are single-minded and work is accurate and follows Thinkerbell’s processes with fresh thinking and a dose of measured magic.
Clients
Be the client support across nominated clients and lead the growth and development of business.
Provide strategic support to the all Lead Thinkers ans Thinkers to develop brand and creative strategies that think beyond the standard deliverables.
Encourage the exploration of innovative ideas, including non-traditional approaches and media options.
Lead and support Lead Thinkers and Thinkers (where required) in onboarding new clients ensuring the Client is set up for success.
Ensure the Transition process is followed for retained clients. Leadership Drive communication across the agency and focused on “Measured Magic”
Be open to change and adapting to new ways. Support in developing an annual plan to identify product / capability opportunities based on client needs.
Lead pitches and new business opportunities.
Be a creative champion, pushing boundaries and spotting creative opportunities. Identify resource/knowledge gaps in the Thinker team and to resolve them.
Ensure training and development needs are identified.
Set the standard for thoroughness, attention to detail and going the extra mile. Share your strategic knowledge with those in the team who aren’t experienced. Needs to include strategic thinking / and keeping the Tinkers on track to delivering magic. Ensure seamless collaboration between Thinkers, Tinkers and Production. Drive productivity and profitability.
QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years of agency experience
University degree
Comprehensive understanding of creative and marketing practices
