Purpose of Position
To attend to the care needs of residents in accordance with their care plan. This will be achieved by providing safe and effective direct nursing care in line with nursing best practice principles. This position is also responsible for assisting with the education of Care Service Employees in clinical matters as required. The position is accountable and responsible in ensuring compliance with SCC policies and procedures, relevant standards, relevant legislation and accepted industry practices.

Qualifications
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Aged Care experience as a Registered Nurse - minimum 2 years experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with elderly people.
• Understanding of ANACC, including assessments, documentation and funding submissions.
• Must be eligible to work in Australia
