About the Role:
The Administration Assistant provides general administrative support to both the General Manager and the facility. The position has direct responsibility for managing general office administration, reception, rostering, and associated support services. The Administration Assistant is responsible for liaising with employees, contractors, volunteers, visitors, residents, and their families at the facility.

• Provide a customer-focused reception service for the facility and promptly respond to or direct enquiries.

Key Duties:

• Ensure buildings and public areas, including grounds, are maintained to a safe, high-quality standard.
• Perform general maintenance tasks ensuring that facilities are safe, to standard and in good working order.
• Perform garden maintenance tasks ensuring garden beds, pathways and outdoor seating areas are safe, clean and free from debris, and that plants are watered.
• Maintain records of the maintenance and gardening programs.
• Ensure adequate stock items for regular corrective maintenance and gardening tasks.
• Assist in the maintenance of an accurate and up to date asset register.
• Contribute to refurbishment, equipment replacement and capital works planning.
• Identify preventative maintenance requirements and document a schedule for same.

The Administration Assistant provides general administrative support to both the General Manager and the facility. The position has direct responsibility for managing general office administration, reception, rostering, and associated support services. • Provide a customer-focused reception service for the facility and promptly respond to or direct enquiries.
