The Opportunity
Due to business expansion, we are seeking an ICT Business Analyst to join the Business head office responsible for enhancing P&S Logistics solutions and capabilities by analysing and improving or building new technology systems. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is efficient and have an exceptional ability to manage various stakeholders, from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
This role is a full-time, ongoing role based at our 8-10 Thomas Street Yarraville VIC.
Salary: $90000 including super.
The role
You will be responsible for overseeing the business systems and processes relevant to our online sales, quoting, booking, customer service, payment and allocation systems for vehicle transport. You will also manage a team of IT developers in our offshore centre, provide them with design specifications for modification of existing systems and developing new systems to build inhouse systems to support the business processes.
You will also have an understanding and/or skill to analyse big data that is generated through Google Analytics and provide recommendations on relevant systems and processes to generate new leads and conversion of leads or potential/commercial value identification.
Previous experience managing overseas web development teams in India, Pakistan or Sri Lanka will be desired.
Responsibilities
• Work with P&S Logistics management team, offshore and onshore staff, to analyse and identify system, business process and procedure
gaps and work practices
• Implement software systems to optimizing existing business practices to reducing inefficiencies.
• Develop and maintain ERP functionality & capability matrix for all logistics operations
• Develop projects plans, cost management, and resourcing to develop and execute key projects for P&S logistics.
• Work closely with offshore technical teams to ensure requirements and dependencies are accurately mapped and agreed
• Creating clear system specifications to the system developers, include specifying the data structures, the user interfaces and business
processes.
• Utilizing the data analytics capabilities and data modelling techniques to create clear system specifications for design a development of
system software
• Assist in UAT processes including the development of testing criteria and working with onshore staff to ensure the correct delivery of the
user stories and compliance prior to release to the live environment.
• Develop training document and SOP’s for onshore customer service staff on new systems or updated systems.
• Facilitate collaboration and teamwork within various teams in the P&S Logistics function
• Act as key project manager and the SME to assist in all data and system projects, advising and guiding the decision makaing for P&S
logistics management team.
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and mentoring to analysts in the team.
Requirements - capabilities and competencies
• Have at least 5 years of work experience as an ICT Business Analyst and Bachelor qualification in IT, software development or a relevant
information technology field
• Proven experience in leading technical design and execution of impact, enterprise-wide, strategic ICT programs or initiatives
• Experience in ICT Digital Services, Data Architectures and Cloud, and Google Analytics.
• Strong understanding of contemporary ICT trends
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical, problem solving and quantitative skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and database skills including experience with advance formulas, pivot tables and relational databases. Macros
knowledge will be highly valued.
• Experience in Microsoft Power BI, particularly Power BI reporting &/or building dashboards.
• Works autonomously and checks-in as decisions are made. Takes on whatever role is necessary to achieve business objectives.
