Perioperative Services Our Perioperative Services are situated in a modern facility with 19 operating theatres, including a Hybrid theatre, three endoscopy suites, and two Cardiac Cath Labs. Equipped with advanced technology, our department supports over 1800 operations each month. We focus on patient-centred care through our day-of-surgery admission points, three Post-Anaesthetic Care Units, and two discharge lounges. We work with a great team of surgeons who perform a wide variety of Upper GI surgeries along with complex gastro and colorectal surgeries. About Cardiac Catheterisation Lab Cabrini's Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory performs over 3000 procedures a year. More than 30 cardiologists, representing diagnostic, interventional and electrophysiology cardiology, have regular sessions within the Laboratory. Elective services are offered Monday to Friday however a 24 hour on-call service is available to support the Emergency Department and the Intensive Care Unit. About the role This is an exciting opportunity to grow and be part of a highly dynamic team, providing exceptional care to our patients. If you have a critical care background and are looking to broaden your skill set to include Cardiac Cath Lab skills, we welcome your application. This position would provide support for transition into Cardiac Cath Lab Nursing and successful applicants will be exposed to a range of learning opportunities and you will be supported by senior clinicians in the department. The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab practices independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions and delegation of care to enrolled nurses and health care workers in accordance with legislation and protocols. Salary range for RN is $34.01 to $48.05 per hour plus superannuation depending on experience (in accordance with the Cabrini Nurses & Midwives Agreement 2021). Key responsibilities will include:

Perioperative Services Cabrini Brighton prides itself on continuing the community hospital experience from back when the site was known as Brighton Community Hospital, from the moment staff or patients walk into the hospital the sense of compassion and care is at the very forefront. Cabrini Brighton Perioperative Services is a caring yet dynamic environment with 5 operating theatres and 1 stand-alone endoscopy suite. Providing a range of surgical specialties from Orthopaedic to general breast surgery, urology and ophthalmology with approximately 800 operations each month, ensuring patient centred care. Our day-of-surgery admissions focus on every patient having a positive experience with their admission to theatre, while our Post-Anaesthetic Care Unit and discharge lounge cater for all specialist post-operative care requirements. Our nurses work in several different areas and specialties including.

Anaesthetic/Recovery
All scrub specialities including Orthopaedic, Urology/Gynaecology ENT, Plastics Ophthalmology, General surgery, Oncoplastic Breast surgery, Endoscopy & Paediatric surgery.
