About the role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Material Master Data Associate to join our National Supply Chain team! Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this role is responsible for the maintenance, extraction, transformation, and load of all material master data contained in systems to the agreed quality and delivery SLAs set. The role will also have the opportunity to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to review any requests for system engagements relating to material in SAP with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders across AU and NZ for the creation of new materials in SAP, Bills of Materials (BOM), promotional codes and 3rd party vendor material codes, etc.
- Maintain material data to meet any regulatory or legislative requirements.
- Create, improve, and facilitate documentation and use of master data standards/definitions, process flows and supporting systems.
- Create, measure, and analyse master data content to identify opportunities to improve the quality, accuracy, and usability of the master data.
- Maintain master data integrity and enrichment.
- Create vendors in SAP for stock and non-stock purchasing.
- Maintain pricing data for all materials in SAP across AU and NZ.
- Develop and publish monthly supply chain business reporting.
Who are we looking for?
- Demonstrated experience in similar role.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (preferred).
- Experience with SAP ECC and SAP 4 Hana (good knowledge of either version is essential).
- Familiarity with SAP LSMW and SAP master data transactions such as MM01/02, MM17, CS01/02.
- Customer- centric and able to communicate with all levels of the business in a highly responsive manner.
- Exposure to supply chain processes, end to end in Procure to Pay cycle.
- Demonstrated experience working with Sales & Marketing departments.
- Experience working with large & complex datasets.
- Advanced level MS Office skills, particularly Excel & Word.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
