Role Overview :
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Marketing and Community Manager to lead our Australiance group marketing initiatives and Startup&Angels community engagement efforts. In this role, you will drive brand awareness, build and nurture our community, understand member needs, and deliver successful partnership projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Australiance Group Marketing:
- Develop, implement, and update the Australiance marketing plan to increase brand awareness, drive user acquisition and retention, and promote customer loyalty.
- Analyze and report on key metrics (e.g., user engagement, retention, referral rates) to inform marketing strategies.
- Support process improvements and tool implementation, including CRM systems, shared drives, and proposals.
- Train and provide guidance to junior team members, including interns and new starters, on tools like ActiveCampaign and social media best practices.
- Startup&Angels Community and Event Management:
- Build, nurture relationships and grow membership with existing and new community members through one-on-one meetings, workshops, and consistent communication.
- Onboard new partners identified and signed by Partnership Manager
- Execute event design, planning and organization, ensuring smooth event logistics and content creation to keep the community engaged and expand its reach (e.g., podcasts, newsletters).
- Project Delivery & Partnerships:
- Work closely with partners to deliver impactful projects that align with their goals and the needs of the community.
- Ensure high-quality execution of partnership deliverables, from planning to post-project evaluation.
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, community management, or related fields.
- Proven track record of developing and executing marketing strategies that drive engagement and growth.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in event management and content creation (e.g., newsletters, podcasts).
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- A self-starter attitude with a passion for community building and making an impact.
