What you’ll be doing

We are seeking a talented individual who can effectively collaborate with service delivery teams and stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for new initiatives and system enhancements. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in identifying opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency in the delivery of services.

In this dynamic role, you will:

• Conduct interviews, workshops, and reviews of existing documentation to understand business processes
• Create detailed and clear business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional specifications
• Work closely with project teams to design effective and efficient solutions and validate that implemented solution to meet business requirements

You will also be responsible for developing data models and defining data requirements for reporting and analytics. You will have the opportunity to build interactive reports and dashboards, utilizing tools such as Power BI. Your expertise in data analysis will be crucial as you analyse data to produce reports that measure performance against KPIs, highlighting insights, trends, and potential risks. Additionally, you will prepare data extracts according to detailed specifications and perform extensive data validation and quality assurance analysis.

As a Data and Business Analyst, you will stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies relevant to data/business analysis. You will actively contribute to team meetings, workshops, and daily standups to discuss projects, issues, and ideas. Your ability to assist in the development of change management plans and support the implementation of changes will be highly valued.

You will assist in the delivery of services to clients within the Children’s Contact Service (CCS), including;

• The facilitation of changeovers and supervised visits with a trauma-informed and child-focused approach, in accordance with individual client agreements, CCS policy, program guidelines and the legislative frameworks. 
• Assist with intake interviews as/when required  
• Client management including intervening wherever necessary to ensure that the emotional, psychological and physical well-being of the children is maintained
• Keeping accurate observational notes of visits and phone calls
• Assist with the compilation of reports for court as required 
• The team will work over shifts between Thursday and Sunday.  Weekend days and flexible days/hours will be required.

This exciting new role will involve working collaboratively with educators and families in kindergarten communities to enhance their capacity to support children's learning in communication, wellbeing, and access and inclusion.

As an Occupational Therapist in our team, you will be responsible for building the capability of kindergarten educators and families through coaching, modelling, group training, and case consultation support, using evidence-based practices. You will collaborate with kindergartens and Department of Education and Training area staff across Maroondah, Knox, and Yarra Ranges municipalities to deliver high-quality direct support that promotes self-regulation, positive and pro-social behaviours, fine and gross motor skills, and social and emotional wellbeing.

We are seeking an experienced AOD worker with personal experience of substance use and recovery to join our team. You will be part of our Lived Experience workforce, developing skills as a Lived Experience Educator – AOD Peer Perspective.

Reporting to the Lived and Living Experience Lead you'll work collaboratively alongside the Lived Experience Educator – Consumer Perspective and Lived Experience Educator – Family/Carer Perspective.  

As AOD Peer Educator you will use your personal living experience of substance use and the recovery journey plus professional experience to:      

• Provide education, training and peer supervision to members of the AOD peer workforce.   
• Develop and provide training and education for all MHAOD staff to increase the understanding and appreciation for AOD peer work and the value that it brings to the organisation.    
• Develop key bodies of work related to the AOD peer discipline, as outlined in the EACH Lived and Living Experience Strategic Plan 2023-2028. 
• Inform practice, build connection and professional relationships, and inspire hope and optimism. 
• Identify professional development opportunities for staff within the peer workforce and facilitate their attendance at same, including peer supervision.
