How you will make an impact: Cabrini is seeking a dedicated leader to inspire and motivate others and support the organisation to faithfully express our Catholic identity and Cabrini heritage. Working in collaboration with managers and staff across the organisation, the Director of Mission & Identity will shape and align business operations, systems, and practices to reflect Cabrini's values, Catholic Social Teaching, and Catholic ethical principles. Your success in this role will be in your ability to influence and engage others to embed Cabrini's mission and values in everyday practice and to ensure the spiritual heart of the organisation remains authentic and vibrant. Through your role, you will shape a culture of compassion, influence performance, drive excellence in care, and provide input to the direction of the health service. Key activities include:
Provide advice and support to the CEO and Executive on effective strategies that integrate Mission with operations.
Lead the development, delivery, and evaluation of mission integration and formation programs across Cabrini Australia.
Provide expertise and support to key clinicians on complex ethical issues.
Develop and implement celebrations and events that recognise Cabrini's Catholic identity and diversity as a faith-based organisation.
Prepare Mission reports for the Executive, Board, and Provincial Council as required.
About you:
Proven experience as a senior Mission Director in a Catholic organisation.
Proven experience in Mission integration and the development of organisational-wide formation programs.
Experience within the health sector.
Understanding of current and emerging issues of an ethical nature impacting health, and Catholic teachings.
Actively engaged in the Catholic tradition and ethical principles, including upholding the Catholic identity of the organisation.
Ability to establish and build trusted and effective working relationships and partnerships.
Unwavering dedication to discretion and confidentiality.
ESSENTIAL:
Educational/Vocational Tertiary qualifications in Catholic Theology, Ministry, or a related area.
Demonstrated relevant expertise and experience at a senior management level.
DESIRABLE:
A Post Graduate tertiary qualification in Catholic Theology, Ministry, or related studies such as ethic.
