Now, enough about us – let's talk about you. We're expanding our dream team, and we're on the hunt for a key role to join our Professional Services Team.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Level 3 build, manage and troubleshoot infrastructure: Virtual Machines, Virtualisation Platforms and Shared Storage
- Working in a Team to deliver timely and quality outcomes
- Develop cutting edge technical strategies and build automation for the work where possible
- Ensuring documentation and procedures are always up to date
Here’s what you’ll bring:
- At least 5 years’ experience in similar client facing role, preferably in a Managed Services environment
- Manage and maintain virtualised environment, including Active Directory, VMware, Backups and Azure (both in house and vendor hosted environments 200+ VMs
- Manage user security administration via Active Directory and supporting security tools
- Undertake technical system administration activities as required
- Perform regular monitoring of server and network performance to identify issues and resolve faults
- Provide technical expertise on Microsoft 365 services, Teams, Azure, MFA, SSO, MDM and all Microsoft 365 features
- Proactively manage level 3 incidents and change requests within Service Level Agreements
- Documentation of processes
- Ability to build and manage Microsoft Server environments including Windows Server 2012 – 2019, Exchange Server and Remote Desktop deployments
- Advanced understanding of Active Directory
- Proven administrative knowledge of the 365 Suite including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
- A solid understanding of Networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and SSL Certificates
- Experience in supporting and maintaining backup solutions such as Veeam is preferable
- Experience in virtualisation technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
- Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure
- Hands on configuration and troubleshooting of hardware like servers and shared storage devices
- PowerShell scripting experience is ideal
- Administrative experience in Linux
- Strong attention to detail and good time management skills
Certifications and Experience
- Significant local experience in a technical support environment 200+VM support
- Solid experience working with Azure infrastructure and Office365 applications
- Strong experience deploying and maintaining ICT Infrastructure
- Microsoft Azure Infrastructure administration (WVD, ASR, DNS)
- Good understanding of service management tools for event management, provisioning and monitoring
- 7+ years knowledge of Microsoft Windows Servers, Group Policy, Active Directory
- Expertise operating in Azure Cloud environment
- Expertise in F5 BIG-IP (or similar application delivery platform such as Citrix ADC/NetScaler)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
The following certifications would be viewed favourably:
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate/Expert (MCSA/E)
- Microsoft Azure Administrator certification
