Now, enough about us – let's talk about you. We're expanding our team, and we're on the hunt for a key role to join our Professional Services Team.
Requirements of the Role:
• Establish and lead a cross discipline team to plan and deliver the pre-gate 2 scope of works.
• Manage current and future relationships with key stakeholders including; capability managers, platform sponsors and delivery agencies, industry partners, and other interest parties.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement activities as part of the broader leadership team which may include; fostering a collaborative and respectful culture, identifying opportunities for business improvements and engage with SMEs for input into project planning and approvals.
• Maintain compliance with existing and emerging reporting requirements that may include; senate estimates, queries, monthly performance reporting, additional and budget estimates, project risks, etc.
Highly Desirable:
• Experience with complex secure communication systems or C4I systems.
• Experience leading multi discipline integrated project teams.
• Previous experience in the Defence environment.
• Understanding of Government gate approval process.
Desirable:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of MS-Office suite of software.
• A deep and thorough understanding of Project Management practices.
• Comfortable working in a changing and complex environment and at times without a pre-defined procedure.
• Willingness and ability to learn new concepts and familiarise oneself with new systems.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and to use initiative when appropriate.
• Understand their own self-assessed competency and to seek assistance when required.
• Build trusted and valued relationships with team members, and other stakeholders.
