The Opportunity
Come and discover the opportunity to join our Lysaght business in our Biggera Waters team as Warehousing and Service Representative. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.
Working primarily in our warehouse but also help out our customer service team on a daily basis where the need arises, this dual role offers plenty of variety. You'll be assisting our warehousing team to ensure warehouse activities are managed efficiently to meet customer’s specific lead-times & requirements.
You will also learn Customer Service skills and assist the customer service team by managing enquiries that come from walk in customers, via phone and email and working to keep your customers informed and up to date with the progress of their orders.
What Will You Do?
Being a key team player in our warehouse and a core part of our customer facing team, you will:
- maintaining a continuous focus on HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)
- general Stores & Warehouse duties including: manually Picking & Packing customer specific orders, operating an Electric forklift for loading & unloading a variety of vehicle types
- interacting with our customers predominately face to face, and at times via phone and email, to manage a variety of enquiries
- preparing and following up customer quotes, entering and managing a variety of orders types including Patio Kits, Fencing, Rainwater goods and more, whilst collaborating with our Sales, Production and Transport networks amongst others
- resolving issues and seeking ways to improve the customer experience
