In a Quantity Surveyor role, you will have knowledge in:

• A natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills and strong technical expertise to ensure the supply chain is aligned with the rights and obligations of the head contract.
• Lead contract negotiations with client and various subcontractors.
• Measure the project works and submit monthly claims and disputes.
• Undertake quantity measurements, cost planning and quantity surveying as required.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver sound commercial outcomes.
• Ability to identify and implement value engineering initiatives and prepare Bills of Quantities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly commercial reports and plans.
• Strong commercial forecasting (including anticipated final account and cash flow).
• Agree Bill of Quantities rates and final accounts.
• Complete site surveillance reports and diaries and review contractor’s progress reports.
• Liaise with stakeholders i.e schedulers/planners, finance, risk.
• Help/Assist in reviewing monthly contractor payment claim submission for major contracts.

In a Senior Estimating role, you will have knowledge in: 

• First principles estimating in the Power, Utilities and Infrastructure sectors. 
• Preparation and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and expenditure profiles for projects and work packages 
• Co-ordination and production of feasibility studies and multi-tier cost reports 
• Undertake key tendering and procurement activities, including establishing pre-qualification stage requirements, preparation of pre-tender estimates, tender analysis, tender reports and the compilation of contractual documents 
• Deep analysis and assessment of cost estimates and forecasts provided by contractors and the supply chain 
• Application of estimating and cost planning activities including producing and presenting a final cost plan 
• Good knowledge and experience of the main project management concepts, tools, and techniques.

About the role

• Team Global Express is seeking a MR Driver to commence immediately at our Brisbane Airport Location

• This is a Full Time Permanent Role, Monday to Friday (8.30am Starts)

• Overtime will be offered on a need by need basis

• Complete deliveries and pick ups promptly and according to time frames

• You must hold a current MR license (or higher).

• Must have a safety first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently

• Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes

• Restraining loads safely as well as the correct use of straps and chains where required

• Keeping trucks in a clean and maintainable condition, whilst also keeping the yard and your personal work area tidy

• Must be able to complete your own vehicle pre-start checks

• Please Note: There is no set allocation of trucks in this position

What you’ll bring

• You will hold a Current & Valid MR License or Higher

• You will be able to follow instructions and work autonomously

• You must have excellent punctuality and the ability to complete deliveries in a timely manner

• You must have Full Rights to work in Australia
