About the role

• This opening is for a Freight Admin Clerk to join our Team at Karawatha immediately

• This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract role

• The working hours for this role are 18:00 – 02:00. This role will ideally suit somebody that is seeking PM/Night work. The successful applicant will also be eligible for a Shift Allowance.

• Create manifests, scan paperwork and ensure documentation is compliant     

• Assist revenue controllers with RPS and process proof of deliveries (POD’s) 

• Utilise our systems to complete administration and data entry tasks

• Debrief our drivers ensuring paperwork has been completed correctly

• Prioritise your work effectively and efficiently throughout the day and complete tasks in a timely manner

• Maintain staff, training and compliance databases where required

• Manage spreadsheet trackers, reports and other compliance documents in order to cleanse, update and maintain them on a regular basis

• Precise data entry skills and excellent attention to detail are a must to be successful in this role

• Previous experience in transport and logistics is preferred but not mandatory. Full scope training and support will be provided to the successful applicant.
