Managing day-to-day operations of the mechanical division, ensuring all services are performed efficiently and to high standards.
Leading and supervising a team of mechanics, auto electricians, and support staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Ensuring excellent customer service, handling customer enquiries and complaints, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Implementing and monitoring quality control procedures to ensure all mechanical work meets safety and compliance standards.
Overseeing the procurement and inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.
Ensuring all operations comply with industry regulations and safety standards, including maintaining the status as an authorised Compliance Inspection Station for mining vehicles.
Developing and implementing strategies to improve service offerings, expand the business, and increase market share.

What you'll need to succeed

Trade Qualified - Mechanical
Minimum 15 years of experience within your trade
Proven leadership and management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service orientation
Team collaboration skills to support team and new employees
Safety-conscious with great attention to detail
Computer-literate
