We are currently seeking Cleaning Services Assistants on a Casual basis to join our team at Woodhaven Aged Care in Lockhart, NSW.

As Cleaning Services Assistant you'll be responsible to provide cleaning services which contribute to a safe, clean and home like living environment for residents and staff.

Key Duties:

• Provide cleaning services according to established cleaning schedules.
• Mopping, vacuuming and polishing floors, shampooing of carpets, damp dusting, waste management and restocking of supplies.
• Assist with laundry practices as required.
• Maintain records of completion of cleaning schedule duties.
• Safe storage and use of cleaning agents including correct cleaning agents used in correct quantities for each task.
• Participate in the infection control program.
• Contribute to a safe environment when undertaking duties ensuring equipment is not obscuring exits and passageways.
• Any other task not defined but within the employees skills, as directed by the organisation.

Essential: 

• Training or experience in cleaning.
• Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
• Knowledge and experience in chemical handling.
• Experience in residential aged care.

Warehouse General Hand / Warehouse Junior - NSW

About the role

Work as part of the Warehouse & Fulfilment team at our Sydney Warehouse, you’ll report to the Warehouse floor Manager and work closely with the rest of the warehouse floor team and customer services team based at the same location, your role centres on:

• Picking and packing orders, receiving stock and organising deliveries for easy future dispatch
• Organising walling and flooring samples & tracking online furniture orders
• Managing the flow of stock through our ERP system and helping with incoming and outgoing calls and emails from/to customers

This role is part of a fun and energetic team and would suit an outgoing and enthusiastic individual who is looking for their first step on a career in warehousing and fulfilment.

• Experience of working in a warehouse environment an advantage but not essential
• Numerate with strong organisational skills
• Comfortable using computers and computer systems
• Physically able, punctual and reliable
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable talking on the phone
