They specialise in structural engineering and offer a range of services across a variety of sectors, including buildings, power and energy, mining, infrastructure, renewables, temporary works and lifting. As they are in a growth phase and have an enviable pipeline of work, they are looking for an experienced Structural Drafter to help support this growth. Your new role
You will have a critical role in the development of comprehensive design and construction documentation across various projects.
Work closely with engineers, clients, and other team members to grasp project objectives and requirements.
Create detailed structural drawings, plans, and sections using industry-standard drafting software like Revit and AutoCAD.
Interpret and integrate design changes and revisions provided by project leaders.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to relevant codes, regulations, and standards in all drafting deliverables.
Review and verify the accuracy of drawings for quality control purposes.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address design issues and offer technical support.
Contribute to the professional development and mentorship of emerging Structural Drafters.
What you'll need to succeed
Demonstrated expertise as a Senior Structural Drafter, with a robust portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successfully completed projects.
Possessing a minimum of several years of experience in the field.
Proficient in industry-standard drafting software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
A solid grasp of structural engineering principles, relevant codes, and regulations.
Known for excellent attention to detail, resulting in the production of accurate and precise drawings.
Strong abilities at problem-solving and critical thinking.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, enabling seamless teamwork within multidisciplinary groups.
Capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
Willingness to take ownership of drawing and model production on various projects.
