Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree 
• At least 3 years of experience in environments such as management consulting, finance, and fast growing startups
• 1-2 years of experience managing people across multiple teams.

Your Day to Day

TOMRA, in conjunction with Joint Venture partners Cleanaway, run and operate the Return and Earn scheme in New South Wales.

TOMRA is seeking an Operations Manager to lead our New South Wales team to manage the network across the state.

As the primary point of contact for Network-related matters, The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the relationship between TOMRA and the NSW Joint Venture, Scheme Coordinator and State Government.

 In addition, the Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Network. This includes contractor management, contractual obligations to the State Govt and quality of customer experience on site.

Reporting into the Operations Manager are the NSW Field Service team, Partnerships and Field Site team.  

Other duties include:

• Nurture key external stakeholder relationships in order to protect and grow existing business (this may include but is not limited to scheme coordinators, government regulators, joint venture partners, and vendors).  
• Ensure that TOMRA operated RVM (Reverse Vending Machines) solutions are operational and meeting our up-time SLA obligations
• Drive positive financial outcomes by ensuring the commercial and financial viability of the organisation unit  
• Develop a comprehensive account management plan with a focus on customer retention
• Oversee contractual compliance regarding delivery of Network Operator obligations, ensuring the business delivers on uptime and KPI requirements

As the Operations Manager you will be working a key Client account, managing 11 locations across Australia & New Zealand to ensure operational, financial, health & safety and quality KPI's are being consistently met across the scope of our contract.

You will have the ability to foster strong working relationships and oversee all aspects of service delivery. 

You will  have a consummate understanding of corporate hospitality management and a focus to drive operational performance across food services and Soft FM services.  Your experience and commercial savvy will allow you the capacity to seamlessly absorb potential new Client sites within the sector longer term.

Duties will include: 

• overall management of business activities across sites within your portfolio
• oversight of relevant food Safety and HSE legislation requirements
• ensure operational budgets & KPI's are met or exceeded
• support in the management of a geographically spread team
