**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a dynamic Front of House Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our establishment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess excellent leadership skills, and have a keen eye for detail. From creating and managing rosters to developing wine and cocktail lists, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our success while fostering a positive team culture.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement efficient roster schedules to optimize staffing levels and meet business needs.
- Curate and continually update wine and cocktail lists, ensuring alignment with our concept and clientele preferences.
- Train, mentor, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional service and uphold our standards of excellence.
- Monitor and manage budget guidelines, including labour and beverage costs, to maximize profitability while maintaining quality.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture, promoting open communication, respect, and professionalism among staff members.
- Oversee daily operations, including customer service, reservations, and cleanliness, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and empathy, striving to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate service and uphold food quality and presentation standards.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, with a track record of success in managing front-of-house operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational abilities, including the capacity to create and manage rosters effectively.
- Knowledge of wine and cocktail selection and service, with a passion for staying updated on industry trends.
- Experience in staff training and development, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Financial acumen and the ability to work within budget constraints while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
