Senior Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Consultant

Job Description

You will be:

• Leading and implementing primary Oracle Cloud Financials modules.
• Overseeing requirements definition, design and gap analysis
• Leading application configuration.
• Driving forward functional support of technical activities such as data migration and integration,
• Leading solution validation workshops
• Overseeing testing support, training delivery, post go live support and other related aspects of functional implementation advice and guidance. 

What you’ll need to bring to the role & Experian

• Approximately 5’s experience working in a presales or sales engineering role.
• Excellent questioning and business analysis techniques to identify customer needs, design solutions and identify and track business and technical requirements.

• Strong presentation skills (workshop, demonstrations, training)
• Strong experience solving technical problems and troubleshooting technical issues.

Work that matters - What you’ll be doing

           Supporting client relationships

• Work with our clients and partners to design Data Quality solutions that leverage Experian data quality software to meet clients’ needs as well as clearly articulate projected ROI/business benefits of solutions.
• Perform Proof of Concept or Proof of Value exercises with clients to aid in positioning the value of our solutions.
• Act as an internal liaison between sales, delivery and product teams and ensure the commercial and technical viability of proposed solutions.

Innovation and efficiency

• Contribute to improving our software by sharing your own experiences from clients with product managers and developers. And using prior experience and research to aid in the development of new solutions and services.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement by ensuring we can work efficiently, effectively and at the highest levels of quality.

Be a core part of a new team we are building in San Diego, Amsterdam, and Sydney. The role of the Senior/Staff UX Consultant  is part of ServiceNow Impact, our newest product. ServiceNow Impact personalizes customers' digital transformation journey on the Now Platform and accelerates customers’ time-to-value.

As part of the global customer success organization, this role will help customers realize the most value from their ServiceNow implementations through a focus on user experience. They will work with customers who implemented or plan to implement any of ServiceNow’s workflow products to transform how work gets done, with a focus on the needs and abilities of the customers’ end users.

Responsibilities:

You will act as the ServiceNow User Experience (UX) subject matter expert and bring UX best practices and strategies to help customers achieve their goals. We have high expectations and a career at ServiceNow means challenging yourself to always be better.

Key responsibilities may include conducting user research activities such as card sorts, tree tests, and usability tests, or applying your design expertise to an expert review of a solution. The ideal candidate is also comfortable working in Figma to create interface prototypes that help guide the implementation of a configured solution.

• Present and deliver one or more UX accelerator offerings from our portfolio to complex, large enterprise customers remotely
• Prepare all client-facing deliverables for applicable UX accelerators
• Act as UX Subject Matter Expert, providing input for the development of new offerings for our UX accelerator portfolio
• Engage with customers and manage their requests by scoping the level of effort, fulfilling business requirements, and resolving customer escalations. Activities may include the following:
  • Assessing the usability of an implemented solution through usability testing techniques and expert reviews.
  • Recommending platform-specific solutions in collaboration with Impact colleagues
  • Crafting design prototypes using Figma to articulate a user experience vision to customer stakeholders.
  • Presenting design concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Planning, facilitating, and co-delivering design thinking led workshops with customers (participants range from end users to C-level) to define product implementation requirements
• Drive the continuous improvements of our service offerings based on delivery experiences
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams
• Mentor team members and peer reviews

About the role:

We are looking for a hands-on and proactive Senior Financial Accountant who will ensure compliance with accounting standards, timely month-end closing, drive our technical accounting expertise, and support the financial health of Ofload through accurate and timely reporting.

This role oversees revenue and COGS recognition, manage and complete the monthly close process, and reconcile the consolidated balance sheet while collaborating cross-functionally to enhance processes.

What you’ll do:

• Compliance and Technical Expertise:
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Assist in drafting technical accounting papers and policies to support complex accounting positions.
• Month-End Close:
• Perform and oversee the monthly close process through the preparation of journal entries and detailed reconciliations.
• Oversee the month-end recognition process for revenue and COGS, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial standards.
• Balance Sheet Management:
• Manage and reconcile the consolidated balance sheet, maintaining accuracy and consistency across all accounts and ensuring it reflects the true financial position of the company.
• Audit and Tax Coordination:
• Act as a key liaison with external auditors and tax accountants to ensure timely and efficient compliance with statutory obligations.
• Process Improvement and Collaboration:
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial processes with broader organizational goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

• CA/CPA fully qualified.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• Strong experience in technical accounting treatments, including AASB16, revenue recognition, goodwill & impairment, and share-based payments.

Your Career

The Senior Consultant on the Offensive Security team is focused on assessing and challenging the security posture across a comprehensive portfolio of clients. The individual will utilize a variety of tools developed and act as a key team member in client engagements. They will be the client’s advocate for cybersecurity best practices and will provide recommendations in this domain. 

Your Impact

• Conducts periodic scans of networks to find and detect vulnerabilities
• Performs client penetration testing to find any vulnerabilities or weaknesses that might be exploited by a malicious party, using open-source, custom, and commercial testing tools  
• Ability to assist in scoping engagements by clearly articulating various penetration approaches and methodologies to audiences ranging from highly technical to executive personnel
• Report generation that clearly communicates testing and assessment details, results, and remediation recommendations to clients
• Develop scripts, tools, and methodologies to automate and streamline internal processes and engagements
• Conducts IT application testing, cybersecurity tool and systems analysis, system and network administration, and systems engineering support for the sustainment of information technology systems (mobile application testing, penetration testing, application, security, and hardware testing)
• Conduct threat hunting and/or compromise assessment engagements to identify active or dormant indicators of compromise (IoCs) using Crypsis and Palo Alto Networks’ threat hunting tools (and/or client owned hunting instrumentation where applicable)
• Conduct cloud penetration testing engagements to assess specific workloads (i.e., AWS, GCP, Azure, containers, or other PaaS and SaaS instances) for vulnerabilities and subsequently attempt to exploit identified weakness after receiving permission from client stakeholders
• Provide recommendations to clients on specific security measures to monitor and protect sensitive data and systems from infiltration and cyber-attacks including response and recovery of a data security breach
• Ability to perform travel requirements as needed to meet business demands
