Your new role, will include but not be limited to the following duties:
Develop, implement, and assess operational strategies aimed at boosting productivity, enhancing service delivery standards, and ensuring accuracy to meet premium service levels and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate closely with warehouse, transport teams, and external contractors to maintain building services in full compliance with OH&S regulations.
Manage and oversee branch headcount, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning to drive growth and achieve positive financial outcomes.
Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, instilling new behaviours and promoting high-performance expectations across the team.
Champion continuous improvement by assessing current and future branch needs, making recommendations, and advising the Regional Manager on potential adjustments or new provisions.
Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships within your dedicated portfolio, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and business growth.
Oversee staffing movements, including recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning to ensure the region is adequately resourced and aligned with operational goals.
Actively promote and sell the company's products and services, including driving strategic asset sales to maximise revenue opportunities and expand the market presence.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous Branch / Operations Manager experience
Experience managing a team of up to 15 people
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Operational and functional expertise across all areas of sales, inventory, finance, marketing, purchasing, warehousing, and distribution.
A positive, mature and supportive outlook with good coaching, influencing and interpersonal skills
