Salary: $74K to 78K plus 11.5% superannuation
Our client, Sky Fuels Australia Pty Ltd. T.A Liberty Moruya, operates a retail fuel centre with a convenience store in Mourya, NSW. Our client is looking for a highly motivated full time Retail Manager who has a passion for retail, a love of customers and a drive to deliver results to join the team in our business. As a Retail Manager, you will drive sales and lead our retail team to achieve all aspects of the store’s performance, ensuring that every customer is given an outstanding experience. The managerial and administrative aspect of your role will encompass determining product mix, stock levels and service standards, selling goods, maintaining records of stock, financial transactions and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
AQF associate degree or Bachelor’s degree with minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
In this role your main responsibilities include:
• Formulate and implement purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices
• Create and deliver daily plans and strategies to ensure store & individual budgets/targets are achieved
• Maintain excellent store standards, including cleanliness and functionality of store machines/equipment and merchandising
• Daily management of stock to minimise out of stocks, stock loss and maximise sales
• Independently deal with all store and fuel related enquiries
• Manage, support and develop your team to drive performance
• Manage and prepare budget reports, rosters, stock take and ordering
• Deal with queries, complaints and feedback from customers
• Analyze sales figures and forecast future sales
• Maintain awareness of market trends and monitor competitors
• Maintain records of financial transactions
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
• Ensure a safe working environment – following all policies and procedures
• Maintaining awareness of pricing of local competitors
• Initiating service changes to improve the business
• Conduct people safety and product safety audits
