We are looking for Mine Water Management Advisors to provide technical assistance, support and expert advice on continuous improvement and practice across the Mine Water Management operations team. Reporting to the Superintendent Mine Water Management and working in a challenging and exciting environment, you will be: Maintaining appropriate water levels in the mine and preventing flooding Involved in identifying, communicating and delivery of productivity and safety improvements. Involved in the improvement to asset availability, life cycle cost and life expectancy. Controlling operational costs related to water management, including energy consumption, chemical usage, and equipment maintenance. Identifying cost saving opportunities through improved water management practices Quickly identifying and addressing water related issues or emergencies, such as leaks or equipment failures. Developing and implementing effective solutions to mitigate risks and minimize disruptions. What you’ll bring Minimum of 5 years’ experience in water resources / mine planning or mine site dewatering is essential. Demonstrated experience as a senior water technician would be beneficial.
