We are currently seeking a full-time Management Accountant to join our team in various locations in New South Wales.
As a Management Accountant, you will be required to attend and participate in meetings with CEO and other consultants. This will include participation in CPD activities organized by the employer or as mandated by regulations and utilize this to provide overall direction and management for all the practices at Narooma
Core duties:
Planning, organizing, directing, controlling and coordinating the Accounts part of health and welfare programs and services.
Providing overall direction and management of accounts for the service facility organization or centre.
Developing, implementing and monitoring procedures policies and standards for streamlining the accounts in medical nursing allied health and administrative staff.
Coordinating and administering accounting in health and welfare programs and clinical services.
Monitoring and evaluating resources devoted to accounts section of health welfare recreation housing employment training and other community facilities and centers.
providing accounts related input towards controlling administrative operations such as budget planning report preparation expenditure on supplies equipment and services.
Liaising with other health and welfare providers and funding bodies to discuss areas of health and welfare service cooperation and coordination.
Advising government bodies about measures to improve health and welfare services and facilities by discussing the accounts and budget
Representing the organization in negotiations and at conventions, seminar, public hearings and forums.
Controlling selection training and supervision of administrative staff.
Other administrative and organizational duties as required including but not limited to book keeping.
About You
Most importantly, we are looking to appoint an confident candidate whose value aligns closely with those of the organizations. This role is dynamic and is most suited to someone who has:
Qualifications in Bachelor degree in Accounts and Management with any additional qualification in Healthcare, Commerce, Business Marketing and /or Law.
A medical background with thorough understanding of the primary health care system is preferable but not mandatory
Experience in Best Practice, or similar medical software- training is available
Strong attention to detail and administration skills
Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills
Ability to adapt situational and effectively manage competing priority
Drivers Licence is essential.
