Job Description: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Roster Coordinator to create and manage staff schedules, ensuring client needs are met efficiently.
Key Responsibility:
• Create and manage weekly roster by understanding the client needs and matching the most suitable support worker
• Act as a central point of contact regarding roster issues for support staff and forward the call to respective persons if needed.
• Respond to all staff enquiries on time and in a professional manner
• Prepare weekly report on service provided
• Check and approve timesheet and provide a report to managers
• Updates and follow-ups, feedback and complaints and any other issues.
• Action scheduling change requests immediately, anytime during day and night.
• Follow processes for accepting change requests.
• Collaborate with your colleagues to run the operations better and take initiative to improve our day-to-day work.
• Work with Care Team regularly to know about upcoming client requirements and plan to onboard suitable staff.
• Handover the staff onboarding process to Admin
• Regularly check staff activities in Brevity. On time clock-in and clock-out, shift reports any change requests.
• Communicating any necessary changes to workers and clients
• Manage staff leave requests
Qualification:
• Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• NDIS experience is preferred.
Skills and Experiences:
• Demonstratable knowledge in rostering techniques and problem-solving skills
• A ‘No SHIFT LEFT UNFILLED’ attitude and approach
• Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.
• Comfortable working in a small team environment and dealing with multiple work requests.
• An understanding of issues and services for elderly people, persons with a disability and their families and carers.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Calm, and can work well under pressure
• Availability for full-time employment within an office-based setting
• Willingness and ability to assist on the floor when needed
• Ability to thrive and have fun in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Workforce management/ Team leadership experience high regard
• Valid Australian driver's license and access to a reliable car with comprehensive insurance
• Current First Aid; CPR Certificate; and NDIS Workers Screening Check or willing to obtain
