Our Client Solutions team is seeking a Bid Manager to join their team and support the growth across our Integrated Facility Management (IFM) business.
In this opportunity you will draw upon your extensive experience in leading and winning complex and high value bids, to galvanise a diverse business into presenting a unified proposition that surpasses any others. To do this, you will be an expert in business writing as well as use bid management methodologies to define the opportunity, establish the strategy and execute the roadmap to success.
This is a 6-8 month opportunity with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.
About the Role:
- Lead and project manage the planning, preparation, review, and submission of bid responses (including expressions of interest, tenders, proposals and presentations)
- In consultation with the Bid Director, review all proposals prior to initiation, determine the strategic fit of the proposal (go/no-go)
- Study tender documents and review aspects of tender documents for win strategies, for success and market growth
- Provide leadership to the proposal preparation resources, ensuring an understanding of scope, implementing bid strategies, appropriate content, monitoring and meeting proposal preparation timelines
- Manage input from the bid team and from key stakeholders and Subject Matter Expert (SME) Take ownership of the proposals to ensure bids are compliant ad are submitted in a timely manner and to a high-quality standard
- Develop, maintain, and share reusable intellectual property and content
- Own and continually improve the bid process and sub processes
- Share best practices so that successes can be replicated by fellow team members
About You:
- Experience in Facilities Management and preferably PPP experience
- Hands-On experience with bid submissions spanning across multiple geographies
- Proven project management skills and highly developed ability to lead large groups through facilitation to achieve required bid solution outcomes
- Ability to identify priorities and manage competing demands and meet deadlines
- Ability to drive process and bring structure to disparate functions within the context of a bid
- Demonstrated ability to work in teams and within a complex team environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer interaction skills
- Demonstrable customer centricity attitude
- Tertiary qualifications in business, property or similar preferred
